Abstract: An interesting feature that runs throughout the New Covenant Scriptures is the application of passages from the Tanakh onto Yeshua. Though the various writers of the New Covenant portray various emphases and levels of theological development, this practice was used by many of the writers to consistently affirm two truths: Yeshua is God, and Yeshua is the Suffering Servant.
